>>Beyond The Page Group Show
The next group show I'm doing with Gallery 1988. This time in San Francisco! I'm really excited and proud to be in this show. I lived there for 7 years and Bay Area holds a special place in my heart. Met some great friends, art school days, my first job in the industry and where I met my wife 10 years ago. So it's like going back home.

>>Happy 5th Anniversary Gallery 1988
The Idiot Box Show was a blast last night. Yesterday marks the Gallery 1988's 5th anniversary. A big thank you to Jensen and Katie for inviting me to these awesome group shows. As usual the gallery was packed and tons of great art on the walls. The theme for this group show was television's guilty pleasures. Here's the painting I did and is still available at Gallery 1988.
*Update - The painting sold... woo hoo!
Cheers!

>>Andrew Wyeth R.I.P. 1917 - 2009

Andrew Wyeth one of the most celebrated artist died in his sleep Friday morning at his home in Philadelphia. The master painter was 91 years old. He's been on of my heroes in painting. We got to visit the Brandywine Museum few years ago and got to see the original illustrations of his work. My wife and I were lucky enough to take a tour of his father's (N.C. Wyeth) home and studio in Chadds Ford, PA where he grew up. It was amazing and all inspiring to see history in that light. Here's one of my favorite paintings of his that I got to see at the MOMA in NYC. Thanks for the inspiration.
